My Background   I have a B.A. in Communications/Journalism from Shippensburg University.  My Elementary/Early Childhood certification was received at Kutztown University.   I completed my Masters of Education at Cabrini College.  Before coming to the Upper Merion Area School District, I taught first grade for 9 years and pre-kindergarten for 3 years.  My husband and I reside in South Philadelphia with our daughters, Bella, a recent college graduate, and Syd, a current college student.  We also share our house with three cats. We love to dine out and travel. I have a love for reading, a passion for yoga, and because I love to eat, I also walk every day. These interests, I feel, lend themselves very well to my vocation as a teacher.   My daughters - Sydney and Isabella
